Our CEO, Tommaso Demarie, highlighted the vital role of error correction in advancing quantum computing’s potential during his #SWITCH2024 masterclass. He explained how the #Loom is designed to manage fault-tolerant quantum error correction—a crucial step toward making quantum computers a reality.

Entropica is pleased to announce an investment from State Farm Ventures. This investment extends Entropica’s Series A round to a total of US$5.5 million and marks a new chapter in the collaboration between the two companies to accelerate the adoption of quantum computing.
The event featured the latest in quantum computing and communication, highlighted by a showcase from the TIS Quantum Team. A key takeaway was the critical role of error correction in making quantum computing practical. Addressing this challenge moves us closer to realizing the full potential of quantum technology.

In this blog post, we discuss our recent work, which proposes a protocol that enables quantum circuits to preserve their fault-tolerant properties when implemented on connectivity-constrained devices. This allows us to fault-tolerantly embed error-correction codes, such as the surface code, onto different devices, facilitating their implementation on near-term quantum devices featuring local connectivities.

Entropica Labs is thrilled to have been awarded the Startup SG Tech grant by Enterprise Singapore, empowering us to advance our quantum error correction technology and drive the adoption of quantum computing.
